- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I had Consumers Credit Union for a few years in college. One time I asked for my end of the year statement, thinking it wasn't going to be a big deal. They then said they would send one out and charge me a few dollars for it. So, I canceled it, but they said it was already processed. In other words, Consumers will charge you fees without your permission. When I e-mailed them to resolve the issue, they were rude and did not seem to care. I ended up canceling my account.
